Meet Our Staff

Stephen M. Stockhausen | PT, DPT
Steve is an exciting addition to the Rakita Tomsic Physical Therapy team. New to the Durango area, he is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He also earned a Bachelor's degree of Sciences in Biology and Secondary education in 2005 from Asbury University, and played All-Conference collegiate soccer in 2003 and 2004.

Steve plans to pursue continued credentialing and emphasis in manual therapy techniques. He is passionate about providing care that improves the lives of his patients and about serving his community. Having been a 'flat-lander' his entire life, he looks forward to experiencing many of his favorite outdoor activities in Durango and the surrounding mountains, which include cycling, hiking and trail running.
